Allo is the creative identity of Manuel Herrera, an Emmy Award–winning Latinx artist based in Dallas–Fort Worth. Under the name Allo, Manuel creates bold, playful, and thought-provoking works that blend the energy of street art with the timeless influence of art history.
Drawing inspiration from legendary artists like Basquiat, Frida Kahlo, and Van Gogh, Allo’s work is known for its vivid colors, layered symbolism, and rebellious spirit. His style reflects a deep respect for the past—while making it fresh, accessible, and fun for today’s audiences.
Through Plaibooks, Allo brings his distinctive voice to interactive coloring books that don’t just entertain—they teach, inspire, and connect. His mission is simple: make art that sparks curiosity, invites conversation, and encourages self-expression in people of all ages.
